MetaMiner consists of three major components:

| 2. | MetaMiner Administrator |
| 3. | MetaMiner Client |
The following third-party components are installed together with MetaMiner:
| • | PostgreSQL database: PSQL run-time environment is automatically installed with MetaMiner Client and MetaMiner Administrator, see http://www.postgresql.org/ |
| • | Oracle JDK/JRE 7: MetaMiner comes with private installation of JRE 7. Normally you do not need to substitute it with some other version, see http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/ |
| • | LOGBack: module for generating and managing system logs, see http://logback.qos.ch/ |
