Full and Update Installers¶
MetaMiner ships three installers; this page shows what each one changes so you can pick the right one for an upgrade.

The full installer empties the lib folders
Any file you added to server\lib or client\lib is deleted. Keep custom files elsewhere and re-apply them after the upgrade, or ask support for the supported location.

The update installer copies a fixed list of files. Confirm whether server\silver-jobs\ is on that list, so that dashboard fixes in a release reach installations upgraded with the update installer.

Confirm the message the update installer shows when the installed build is older than 6462, and whether it can be overridden.

The full and update installers carry over -Xms, -Xmx and -D lines. Confirm the same for the client-only installer.
