System Requirements¶
What the MetaMiner server host, the database, the client workstations and your Microsoft tenant need before you install.
MetaMiner server host¶

Power BI requires PostgreSQL 16 or later
When the MetaMiner Database runs on an older PostgreSQL major version, the server does not start any Power BI collection, schema update or environment synchronization. It logs Power BI requires MMDB PostgreSQL 16+ in server\logs\server.log. The embedded database of a new installation is PostgreSQL 16.

Confirm which Windows Server releases are tested with the current 5.2 build (for example 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025) and state them here.

No current measured minimum exists for a Power BI-only installation. Confirm one with engineering.
Microsoft tenant¶

Client workstations¶

State the tested Windows 10/11 builds and whether published-application deployments (Citrix, RDS) are supported, including the browser-based delegated sign-in on those hosts.
Usage dashboards¶
The Power BI Usage dashboards run in a browser and are served by the MetaMiner Server on the same port as the client.
