Log Bundle for Support¶
Create one zip of the MetaMiner Server logs from MMA to send to Infolytik Support.
Before you begin¶
- MMA is running on the MetaMiner Server machine.
- The server can keep running; MMA copies the logs before zipping them.
Steps¶
- In MMA, choose File > Create Log Bundle....
- In Create Log Bundle, optionally check:
- Include SQL parser warnings: adds
logs\parser-warnings\(SQL that could not be parsed). - Include ORM warnings: adds
logs\orm-warnings\(rows that could not be stored in the MMDB).
- Include SQL parser warnings: adds
- Click OK and wait while MMA shows "Creating log bundle. It may take a while....".
- MMA opens the finished zip.
The bundle is saved in the server folder as server_log_bundle_<dd-MMM-yyyy>-<number>.zip.

Send the bundle¶
- Attach the zip to your support ticket or email it to support@infolytik.com. See Contact Support.
- Describe what happened and when (date, time and time zone), and which environment was affected.
Large bundles
Warning folders can be large. Include them only when Infolytik Support asks, or when the problem is about SQL parsing or missing metadata. If the zip is too big for email, ask Infolytik Support for an upload location.
What a bundle contains
The bundle contains log files. Logs can include server names, BusinessObjects object names and user names. Review your organisation's policy before sending.
Verify¶
- The zip opens and contains
server.log,slc.logandadmin.log.
