Supported BusinessObjects Versions¶
The BusinessObjects releases the MetaMiner Server recognizes, and how it picks the right SDK for each environment.
How version selection works¶
When you validate an environment in the MetaMiner Administrator, MetaMiner logs on to the CMS and reads its product version (for example 14.3.4.xxxx). The server then loads the BusinessObjects SDK library set that matches that version. Each library set runs in isolation, so one MetaMiner Server can pull a BI 4.2 and a BI 4.3 environment at the same time.
You do not choose the version. If the CMS is upgraded, validate the environment again in the MetaMiner Administrator so the new version is detected.

The table lists what the current release recognizes. Product management must confirm which releases are supported for new installations (XI 3.1, BI 4.0 and BI 4.1 are out of SAP maintenance) and which support packs are certified.
Check before you upgrade BusinessObjects
A BusinessObjects release newer than the last row of this table may be pulled with an older library set. Contact Infolytik support before you upgrade a CMS to a release that is not listed here.
