Force On Demand Pull
Choose Force On Demand Pull if you want to update BI data about a particular Tableau environment right now. It starts shallow pull for the selected environment.
Warning
This command is available for environments only.
You can understand if on-demand pull is required by looking at the environment icon in the Content Area of Tableau Explorer.
Standard Tableau icon 
indicates the data in Tableau Explorer about this environment is up-to-date.
The icon with a question mark 
indicates the data is outdated and you need to refresh.
You can also click the 
Refresh button in the Status Bar, but it will pull data for all environments altogether.
