Site Roles Filter Group¶
The Site Roles filter group in the Filter Pane consists of a checkbox list. Each of list items represents one user role found at one of the sites of your Tableau environments:

Tableau roles displayed here have nothing to do with MetaMiner Security user roles.
The list of site roles is cross-environmental (a plain list of all roles in all environments). When you select one or more roles, it limits the BI data shown in the Content Area to those users who are assigned with the selected role(s).
If there are roles with the same name at multiple sites or environments, they all are aggregated.
There is an additional item (All) in the list of site roles. Use it to toggle between all roles being selected and all roles being unselected.
If all roles are selected, or none of them, then the Site Roles filter is not applied, and it does not limit the data displayed.
